What’s wrong with me? I just read a story online that said that the Bush daughters showed the Obama girls around the White House on Tuesday and my first thought was “wow, they’re really trying to raise that approval rating…”  Why am I so jaded?

My bad mood probably started this morning in my government class when my teacher started criticizing Barack Obama again. He asked the class, “what word supposedly sums up Obama’s campaign?” The class, happy to know an answer, chanted back, “change”. He continued,”and yet who is he appointing to his cabinet.. the same people who have always run Washington!” I sat there in amazement. Who does he think is going to be chosen for a Presidential Cabinet? And there was no mention that Obama has chosen the first african-american attorney general or the fact that several women are in the running for secretary of state and secretary of homeland security. And what about the fact that one of Obama’s first moves is going to be shutting down that atrocity Guantanamo Bay?

Okay, okay. I’ll stop griping. On to other subjects… Joy Behar makes me laugh so hard every night when I watch The View (I tivo it). So I wanted to send her a note and tell her how much I enjoy her. I looked on the show’s website and couldn’t find any contact information for her so then I did a people search and this is what I came up with:
